It was a big weekend for former St. Joseph’s Prep high school football program with three former Hawks being selected in the NFL Draft.

Running back D’Andre Swift was taken with the 35th overall pick by the Detroit Lions, followed by defensive back John Reid by the Houston Texans at No. 141. Jon Runyan was the third former SJP pick at No. 192 by the Green Bay Packers.

Today, I spoke with St. Joe’s current head coach Tim Roken, who was an assistant under then head coach Gabe Infante, about the trio and the upcoming season.
