Top 100: No. 16 Cardinal Gibbons wins Florida 4A championship

For the second time in three years, Cardinal Gibbons is a Florida high school football state champ. Thursday, the Chiefs beat The Bolles School 35-21 in the Class 4A state championship game at Doak Campbell Stadium on the campus of Florida State in Tallahassee.

Bolles got out to a lead on the first drive of the game.

After that it was all Cardinal Gibbons behind 35 unanswered points.

Cardinal Gibbons quarterback Brody Palhegyi was outstanding, completing 29-of-33 passes for 358 yards with four touchdowns.
