Top 100: No. 22 Corner Canyon’s 48-game win streak ends in Utah

For the first time since 2017, Corner Canyon tasted defeat. Thursday night, the Chargers, ranked No. 22 in the High School Football America 100 powered by NFL Play Football, was beaten by No. 160 Lone Peak 41-16, which snapped CC’s 48-game win streak.

Corner Canyon was trying to set a new Utah state record, but now will have to settle for sharing it with Duchesne.

After leading 13-10 at the half, Lone Peak posted three unanswered scores to improved to 5-2 on the season. Corner Canyon falls to 7-1.

The 48-game win streak was the second longest active streak in America. Fyffe High School in Alabama owns the longest active streak at 51 straight.
