Less than 24 hours after Aledo won a state record tenth Texas high school football championship, Katy won its 9th overall title. The Tigers, ranked No. 32 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings powered by BlackMP Living Water, blasted No. 23 Cedar Hill 51-14 to win the 6A Division II championship Saturday at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. It was the Tigers’ first championship since 2015.
