Top 100: No. 40 Katy advances to Texas 6A Division II championship

The Katy Tigers, ranked No. 40 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings powered by BlackMP Living Water, are going to their 15th Texas high school football championship game after blowing-out Buda Hay 63-7 Saturday in the Class 6A Division II state semifinals. The Tigers scored the first eight times they touched the ball.

Sophomore running back Seth Davis led a powerful Tigers’ rushing attack with 168 yards and three touchdowns. He also threw for a score.

Next up, Katy (12-1) will play No. 23 Cedar Hill for the state championship.
