Top 300: No. 266 Starkville takes-down No. 145 for Mississippi 6A state title

After a 4-3 start, Starkville closes-out 2022 with Mississippi’s 6A championship. The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 266 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 146 Brandon 48-32. It was the team’s eight straight win over the season.

Starkville now has seven state titles. Brandon is still looking for the school’s first high school football championship.
