Top 300 showdown in Ohio: No. 20 Massillon Washington beats No. 9 St. Edward

For the second year in a row, Massillon Washington has taken down St. Edward. Friday night at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, the Tigers, ranked No. 20 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 9 St. Ed, winners of the last two Ohio Division I state titles, 15-13.

After falling behind 6-0, Massillon Washington scored 15 unanswered points. Senior quarterback DaOne Owens ran the ball 26 times for 176 yards and a both Tiger touchdowns.

St. Ed was without senior quarterback Casey Bullock, who suffered an injury in it the team’s win last week against Elder.
