Truckee Wolverines get a visit from a bear

The two-time defending Nevada state football champ Truckee got an unusual visit to its practice Thursday. A black bear wandered on to the team’s practice field.

The event was captured and posted on the team’s Instagram account.

Truckee is actually a northern California town near Lake Tahoe, but the Wolverines have been a part of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association since the 80’s.

Overall, the Wolverines have won fourteen state championships, the fifth most in Nevada high school football history.
