Tullahoma’s first high school football team played in 1922. Saturday, the school won its first-ever Tennessee high school football championship with a 21-14 double-overtime win over two-time defending champ Elizabethton in the 4A title game at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga.

Longtime head coach John Olive told Newschannel 5 in Nashville, “My hats off to our football players. You asked about the secret, it is they didn’t care who got the credit and every ball game somebody different was making a big play for us.”

Tullahoma finishes a perfect 15-0.
