The Westerners had a great day. Practice was energized and it was fun. Things flowed. We hit each other in the mouth at times. It was physical.
The guys came out today and took care of business. The biggest thing I noticed today was our guys flying around and having fun. That is the biggest takeaway from today. It brings a smile to my face.
I really don’t have anything else to add to today. It was a great day.

Big Game This Week
I want to take a minute and talk about a big game this week. Yes, we play Lake View and it is a big game. However, LISD has a huge game on tap following our 4:00pm tilt with the Chiefs.
Monterey and Coronado kickoff at 8:00pm on Friday, in a game being dubbed the biggest game in LISD history. It’s an exciting time time for LISD.
Coronado is undefeated and Monterey has one loss. This if going to be a sellout at PlainsCaptial Park. What a huge night for our school district. Makes me proud to be a member of LISD.
Cutting this one short tonight. I’m going to watch some TV with the family. Imagine that, during football season. Yes indeed, football does not define me.
