The wait is almost over.

Kickoff time is tomorrow at 7:30pm in Seminole, Texas.  The Westerners will hop on the charter buses around 4:15pm and roll through west Texas.  I am excited.  Pumped.  Whatever else you want to say. I’m ready to kick-off this season.

We had two good practices today, just to tie up loose ends.  We were on the field at 7:00am today and we were back at 4:30 for another one.  The focus was sharp and on point.  This bunch is just different; they get it.

Tomorrow  is the day. Time to see how tough we are.

Captains

Tomorrow I will send out four captains — Blake Robbins, Pooh Bear Ambriz, Eric Puente and Kwami Wilborn.  I honestly could have sent out our entire team tomorrow.  The leadership has been that great.

But that’s how we go tomorrow…four deserving guys, leading us into the 2016 season.

Short and Sweet

I am too wound up to write tonight.  I’m going to have to call it a night. This blog is short and sweet, but I will have more to write tomorrow.  I’m going to write a few lines about my buddy, Kent Jackson, the HC at Seminole.

More tomorrow.

Good night. Happy 2016 football season!

FIO.
