Baylor School (Tennessee) and Seton Hall Prep (New Jersey) will play the longest road game of 2023. The two will square-off in Dublin, Ireland in the Global Ireland Football Tournament on August 25. The event will also include a college football game between Notre Dame and Navy on August 26.
Baylor finished last year No. 61 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Red Raiders won Tennessee’s Division II-AAA state title. The school’s first in 49 years.

Seton Hall Prep finished No. 289 in the HSFA 300. The Pirates finished 6-6 last year, advancing to the Non-Public A state semifinals.
“We are honored to be traveling abroad to open our 2023 season, which will be an invaluable experience for our student-athletes to explore a new culture and engage in all that Ireland has to offer,” said Larry Baggitt, Seton Hall Prep Director of Athletics via a news release.
The game will be the first between American high school football teams on the Emerald Isle since 2016.

Global Football put together its first high school football games in Ireland in 2012. It was a tripleheader with teams from Arizona, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas.
