Two former NFL’ers to lead North Carolina high school football program

Heritage Huskies footballDewayne Washington, who played 12 years in the NFL for four teams, is the new head coach at Heritage High School.

Washington’s right-hand man will be Torry Holt, who one day may been in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  Holt, who will be an assistant at Heritage, was a seven-time Pro Bowler for the St. Louis Rams and was part of The Great Show on Turf team that captured Super Bowl XXXIV.

According to HighSchoolOT.com, Heritage AD Pat Kennedy says the former NC State stars are a perfect fit for the program.
