Two new teams enter HSFA Texas Top 25 high school football rankings

For the first-time ever, North Crowley and Dripping Springs are making an appearance in the High School Football America Texas Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.

North Crowley with a perfect 8-0 record breaks into the statewide rankings at No. 24. Dripping Springs is No. 25 after beating former No. 14 Lake Travis 38-31.

At the top of the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm, Denton Guyer moves from No. 4 to No. 3 after taking-down No. 8 Allen 49-7 on national television.

In the national rankings, 36 Texas teams are ranked in the HSFA 300. Leading the way is North Shore at No. 9.

This week, North Shore will have a chance to claim a share of the District 21-6A title when it plays No. 10 Atascocita. Each team enters the game undefeated in district play.

In District 11-6A, No. 2 Duncanville will square-off with No. 5 DeSoto for the district championship.
