UIL announces enrollment figures for upcoming realignment

The University Interscholastic League, the governing body for Texas high school football, has announced the enrollment figures for its upcoming realignment that will be announced in February.

The numbers are as follows:

Class 6A

2,275 students and above

Class 5A Division I

1,903 students to 2,274

Class 5A Division II

1,315 students to 1,902

Class 4A Division I

957 students to 1,314

Class 4A Division II

545 students to 956

Class 3A Division I

369 students to 544

Class 3A Division II

254 students to 368

Class 2A Division I

181.5 students to 253

Class 2A Division II

105 students to 181.4

Class 1A Division I

61.5 students to 104.9

Class 1A Division II

61.4 students and fewer
