UIL asks Texas high school football coaches to consider closing summer workouts from July 3-12 to prevent spread of COVID-19

The University Interscholastic League is asking Texas high school football coaches to take a break from summer workouts around the 4th of July holiday. Below, you can see at tweet from the state’s governing body that asks coaches to consider shutting-down summer workouts from July 3rd through the 12th to prevent the spread of COVID-19 that could be accentuated during the holiday.
