Union Parish outscores St. James for Louisiana Non-Select Division III championship

The fourth time was the charm for Union Parish. Friday, the Farmers beat Union Parish 36-35 for the Louisiana Non-Select Division III state championship at Caesars Superdome. Union Parish played and lost in the championship game in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The two teams combined for a Division III championship game record 800 yards. Union Parish had 407 yards in total offense. St. James had 393.
