University Lab (Baton Rouge) capped a perfect season Friday night winning a 55-46 shootout with St. Thomas More in a Division II championship game that broke or tied ten Louisiana High School Athletic Association Prep Classic Records. The Cubs, ranked No. 27 in the latest High School Football America 100 national rankings, have now won back-to-back state titles.

The teams combined for a state championship record 1,210 yards in total offense (University 607, STM 603) with Virginia verbal commit runningMike Hollins leading U-High with 237 yards rushing with four touchdowns on 27 carries.
