UPDATE: High School Football America 300 high school football rankings – Week 11

High School Football America 300 national high school football rankings powered by NFL Play Football
gamestrat high school football sideline instant replay

For the second time in the last week, a highly-ranked Florida team has been stripped of all of its wins due to the use of an ineligible player. Monday, the Florida High School Athletic Association took away all eight of No. 18 Miami Central’s wins, which shakes-up the latest High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Last week, the FHSAA stripped then No. 57 The First Academy of its eight wins after the Royals used ineligible players.

The sanctions drop both Miami Central and The First Academy out of the HSFA 300.

As a result of the Miami Central ruling, we’ve updated our national rankings that we released Monday evening.

As far as the national championship chase, Southern California’s Mater Dei controls its destiny. The Monarchs closed-out the regular season last Friday with its second straight Trinity League championship.

No. 1 MD beat Orange Lutheran 38-14 to finish the regular season a perfect 9-0. The Monarchs open the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs in two weeks against the winner of the play-in game between No. 49 Servite and No. 54 Sierra Canyon.

If MD wins its quarterfinal matchup, the Monarchs will face the winner of the game between No. 17 Mission Viejo and No. 22 Corona Centennial.

On the other side of the ultra-competitive playoff bracket is No. 5 St. John Bosco. The Braves will face the winner of the play-in game between No. 62 Santa Margarita and No. 156 Inglewood.

In the fourth quarterfinal matchup, No. 13 Orange Lutheran squares-off with No. 50 JSerra.

St. Frances Academy (Maryland) is up two spots to No. 10 in the latest national rankings. The Panthers move comes after an impressive 30-3 rout of former No. 5 IMG Academy (Florida). The loss drops IMG six spots to No. 11 in the latest rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Florida currently leads the nation ranked with 52 teams in the Top 300, followed by Texas with 41. California and Georgia each have 28 teams in the HSFA 300, followed by Ohio with 19 and Louisiana with 13. Alabama and Tennessee are also in double-digits with twelve teams each.
