In an unprecedented decision the Utah High School Activities Association is allowing a high school football player to transfer and play immediately.
The UHSAA voted 3-0 on Wednesday to allow former Lone Peak High School quarterback and running back Scott LeFrandt to transfer and play for American Fork this Friday. LeFrandt asked for the transfer after a sideline altercation with Lone Peak coach Monte Morgan during the team’s 31-3 loss to Bingham.
Lone Peak officials suspended Morgan, who admitted to grabbing LeFrandt by shoulderpad breastplate and screaming an obscenity at him after his player ran off the field yelling “this offense is bulls–t, this offense is bulls–t”.
LeFrandt’s new team American Fork will play his old team Lone Peak on October 10th at Lone Peak.
