Different class, same result for the Van Meter high school football program. Friday, at the UNI-Dome, the Bulldogs beat Central Lyon/George-Little Rock 24-21 for the Iowa 2A high school football championship.

After back-to-back titles in 1A, Van Meter moved up to 2A this season.
