Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison snapped Kindred’s 24-game win streak to capture the 2024 North Dakota Class A Dakota Bowl. The 14-12 victory avenged Kindred’s 13-6 win in the season opener between the two on August 23.

V-D-A-G has now won two state championships in the last three years.

Kindred, the 2023 Class A champ, was looking for its third state title in the last four years.
