Essex’s Joey Picard tossed a school-record eight touchdown passes Saturday to lead the Hornets to a 51-19 win over Mount Mansfield Saturday.

Picard, who was making his first start of the season, threw for 303 yards.  Essex is now 1-3, while Mount Mansfield falls to 0-4.
