Video: Former NFL QB David Garrard talks with competitors at Jacksonville Jaguars High School QB Skills Competition

Before competing the the 3rd annual Jacksonville Jaguars High School QB Skills Competition, players got to listen to a guy that was in their shoes before becoming a 10-year NFL quarterback.

David Garrard, who played nine years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, making the Pro Bowl in 2009, told the 160 players, in attendance, that quarterback “is the best position in the world.”

Garrard played high school football at Southern Durham High School in North Carolina. He threw for over 9,000 yards during his scholastic career. He was also very good runner.
