It was great to talk with Oakland (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) head coach Kevin Creasy today about the return of high school football in the Volunteer State. Teams across the state were able to begin summer workouts June 1.
The Patriots under Creasy have made the High School Football America 100 national rankings three times since he took over the program in 2015. After winning the Tennessee 6A state title in 2018, Oakland finished No. 24 in the national rankings. Last year, after losing to eventual state champion Marysville, the Patriots finished No. 73. The Pats were ranked No. 81 nationally in 2017.
