Mission Viejo, the defending CIF Division I-AA champs and #4 in the High School Football America Southern California Top 25, beat Oak Hills 42-28 on Friday night in the 2016 Honor Bowl.  The win was the Diablos 30th straight.

Oak Hills (1-1) did push MV (2-0) to the limit, taking a 21-19 lead early in the second quarter.

Mission Viejo quarterback Matt McDonald threw three touchdown passes in the victory.
