There are over 7,000 high school football games across America on any given weekend. The finish to Friday night’s Southern California game between La Habra and Los Alamitos, may have been the best in the country — and the final play may go down as the Play of the Year.
After trailing 24-7 at the half, Los Al, ranked #13 in the latest High School Football America/SoCal Top 25, took a 32-31 lead with :47 seconds left when Randall Gonzalez scored on an 11-yards TD run.

Then on the final play of the game Eric Barriere threw a 44-yard Hail Mary touchdown to wide receiver Eric Lancaster-Garcia to lift the Highlanders, ranked #25 in our SoCal Top 25, to a 3-1 record on the season.
