Ninety standout high school athletes representing Miami-Dade and Broward counties school districts will compete in TRU Sports Foundation’s 7th Annual Private vs. Public All Star High School Football Showcase.  The game will be played at McArthur High School Football Stadium with kickoff slated for 6:30p.m.  Players will be joined on the sideline by former and current NFL players.

“This all-star game is a unique opportunity for these athletes to showcase their talents, and we are proud to have received such a high level of interest from athletes around the tri-county area willing to travel to participate in this game,” said Mario O. Smith, Executive Director of the TRU Sports Foundation.

The Private vs Public All Star High School football game is an effort to provide graduating seniors an opportunity to showcase their talent among their peers, and obtain one last look by coaches and recruiters, representing colleges and universities across the country. In order to be considered for participation, students are required to maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average and have already taken the ACT or SAT exam.
