The game will be produced by Prep Gridiron Logistics (PGL), the #1 high school football promoter in America, PGL is partnering with FloSports, a leading sports streaming and original content network, to bring elite high school football games to audiences around the world. This year is the first of a four-year deal that will feature a minimum of 100 games and hundreds of hours of live programming on FloSports’ award-winning digital platform.

Hoban enters 2021 ranked No. 23 in the High School Football America 100  powered by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels. The Knights have won five state championships in the last six years.

Hoban, which finished No. 5 in the High School Football America national rankings last year, graduated 22 seniors, including quarterback Shane Hamm, who is now at the University of Dayton. Hamm won three state titles in four years as the program’s starting QB.

The strength of the 2021 team will be its offensive line that has four starters back. Keshawn Haynes, Michael Noe, Drew Holt and Colton Burkhart led the ’20 Hoban offense to an average of 37.6 points per game.

The Knights ground game should be in good hands with junior Lamar Sperling becoming the team’s feature back. Sperling ran for over 500 yards last season in a backup role.

Bishop Sycamore has lots of Division I talent, but is coming off an 0-6 season. The Centurions, coached by Roy Johnson, are not your typical high school football program. It would be better to call Bishop Sycamore a prep school with several post-graduate players.

Coach Johnson says the strength of the team will be its receivers — Tyler Johnson, Jeremy Naborne, Chamor Price and Armond Scott.
