With two weeks to go in the regular season, Wayzata has taken over the top spot in the High School Football America Minnesota High School Football Top 10 statewide rankings. The Trojans rise to No. 1 after former No. 1 Lakeville North was beaten by arch-rival Lakeville South.
South moves into the Top 10 at No. 5 after the 34-19 victory. The Cougars beat its crosstown rival for the first time since 2010.
Former No. 4 Eden Prairie drops out of the Top 10 after being upset by Edina 21-14, which entered the game with a 1-4 record.
