Headlining this weekend’s high school football schedule will be a High School Football America North Carolina Top 10 showdown between No. 2 Myers Park and No. 7 Butler. Both teams bring 2-0 records into the contest.

The top half of the Top 10 remains the same from Week 1 with No. 4 Weddington solidifying its position with a 7-3 win over former No. 6 Charlotte Catholic last week. The Warriors are looking for a 3-peat in Class 3AA. CC, which is looking for four straight state titles in 3A, drops to No. 9 in the latest statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
