For the first-time ever, Downers Grove North makes an appearance in the High Schoo Football America Illinois Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Trojans moving into the statewide rankings after a 31-7 win over former No. 8 Glenbard West. The win snapped a 16-game losing streak against the Hilltoppers.

There are two big head-to-head matchups in the Top 10 this week. Both will shape the Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference Blue Division.

Top-ranked Mount Carmel (Chicago) will have a big test on Friday when the Caravan host No. 4 St. Rita. The Mustangs are coming-off a 20-10 win over No. 9 Joliet Catholic. No. 3 Loyola Academy takes on No. 10 Brother Rice on Saturday.
