Week 8 of the HSFA Ohio Top 25 high school football rankings

As we head into the final two weeks of the 2022 regular season, the High School Football America Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, are set for some great matchups that will decide the No. 1 team during the regular season.

Top-ranked Archbishop Moeller controls its own destiny with two big matchups. This week, the Crusaders will play No. 4 St. Edward. The following week they take-on the No. 2 team in Michigan, Detroit MLK.

No. 2 Archbishop Hoban will be a heavy favorite this weekend against 0-8 Benedictine. The Knights will close-out with St. Ed.

Aside from Moeller/St Ed, there are three other head-to-head Top 25 matchups this weekend:

No. 9 St. Ignatius vs. No. 10 St. Xavier
No. 12 Fairmont vs. No. 17 Centerville
No. 13 Wayne (Huber Heights) vs. No. 16 Springboro

New to the statewide ranking this week is Austintown-Fitch at No. 25. It’s the first-time the Falcons have ever been in our Top 25.
