Week 8 of the HSFA Pennsylvania Top 25 high school football rankings

Harrisburg moves from No. 12 to No. 11 in the High School Football America Pennsylvania Top 25 high school football rankings after a 20-0 shutout of former No. 6 State College. After losing to No. 8 Manheim Township in Week 3, the Cougars have ripped-off five straight wins. State College drops seven spots to No. 13 in our statewide rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Pittsburgh Central Catholic is up a notch to No. 9 after knocking-off No. 14 Penn Hills 45-12. It was a quality bounce-back win after the Vikings lost to Pine-Richland last week.

Top-ranked St. Joseph’s Prep has a big interstate game this week when it plays Maryland’s Archbishop Spalding. SJP is ranked No. 9 in the HSFA 300 national rankings. Spalding is ranked No. 94 in America.

In a big Top 25 head-to-head, No. 4 Downingtown East battles No. 22 Coatesville.
