Long Beach Poly (California) quarterback Matt Corral’s touchdown passed to Jaylen Waddle of Episcopal High School (Texas) with 7:32 to go in the game gave the West a 17-16 win over the East in the US Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas Saturday.

Corral’s Southern California counterpart J.T. Daniels, who last month reclassified as a senior to leave Mater Dei early for USC, threw the West’s other TD pass. It was to his high school teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown, who announced during the game that he’ll join Daniels at USC.

Miami Central (Florida) running back James Cook scored two touchdowns for the East. Cook, a University of Georgia recruit, had a 16-yard run and 10-yard touchdown reception.
