Westbrook goes back-to-back in Texas Class 1A Division I 6-Man football

For the second year in a row, Westbook is the Texas Class 1A Division I state champ. Wednesday. The Wildcats handed Abbott its in its first loss of the year with a 69-24 defeat at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, for the 6-man state title.

Cedric Ware had an outstanding game on both sides of the ball, winning both the offensive and defensive MVP awards.

The Abbott offense ran 40 offensive plays, averaging only 3.1 yards per play. Abbott entered the game averaging 55-and-a-half points per game.
