Westview cruised to the Tennessee 2A high school football championship with a 55-14 win over Hampton. It’s the school’s first-ever football state championship.

Westview was led by Alabama recruit Ty Simpson who completed 5-of-10 passes for 99 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed for 181 and two touchdowns on 10 carries.

Simpson was named the game’s MVP.
