Time to look at this weekend in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football, the NFL’s initiative to provide fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels. It’s not a full schedule of games, however, there are some big head-to-head matchups inside the Top 100.

Headlining the three intra-Top 100 battles on the schedule will be No. 7 St. John Bosco (California) hosting No. 22 Miami Central (Florida). Both teams have been regulars in our Top 25 over the past decade.

Bosco, which won the 2019 High School Football America national championship, is the best team in the nation, according to our proprietary algorithm that is used to create our national rankings since 2013. Aside from finishing No. 1 in 2019, the Braves were runner-ups in 2013 and 2016. In 2018, SJB finished No. 3 in the nation.

Miami Central is tied as the tenth best high school football program in America since 2013. The Rockets’ highest finish was No. 4 in 2013.

The 2020 runner-ups in Division I and II will go at in Massillon. No. 59 Pickerington Central will play No. 87 Washington Massillon in the season opener for both squads.
