USA Football has released its list of high schools with the most players on 2015 NFL Kickoff Weekend rosters.  Leading the way from Southern California’s CIF-Southern Section are five teams — Colton, Long Beach Poly, Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) Oaks Christian and Servite — with four players each.

Six schools had three players each on NFL rosters — Crenshaw, Crespi, Edison, Mater Dei, Serra (Gardena) and Rancho Verde.

Fifteen schools had two NFL players each — Birmingham, Domiguez, Dorsey, Fullerton, Loyola, Mission Viejo, Norco, Palisades, Palmdale, Pomona, Santa Margarita, Taft, Troy, Tustin and Valencia.

The CIF-SS and CIF-LA City Section combined to have 114 players of the 1,695 total NFL players on Kickoff Weekend rosters.  As a state, California had 203 players total, which was second to Florida with 204.

NFL players hailed from 1,387 high schools in 47 states and the District of Columbia, eight countries and two U.S. territories (American Samoa and U.S. Virgin Islands).
