After a 3-3 start, Xaverian Brothers was able to get moving in the right direction on the way to its second straight Massachusetts Division 1 Super Bowl championship. Thursday night, the Hawks, ranked No. 4 in the latest High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 2 Needham 14-7 at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Two way starter (RB/LB) Vincent Busa, after missing two games due to injury, ran for 140 yards in the victory. His TD run in the second quarter proved to be the game-winner.

Xaverian Brothers finishes 9-4, while Needham drops its first game of the year to finish 12-1.
