Elijah Brown, who has led Mater Dei to a High School Football America national championship (2021) and only lost one high school football games during his three-year varsity career, is headed to Stanford. The 4-star QB announced his verbal commitment after competing in the 25th annual Elite 11 quarterback competition last week outside of Los Angeles.

The senior-to-be chose Stanford over UCLA.
Brown is 29-1 since taking over as the program’s quarterback after the graduation of Heisman Trophy winner and overall No. 1 NFL Draft pick Bryce Young. His only loss was in the final game last year when the Monarchs lost to eventual 2022 national champ St. John Bosco in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 championship.
Last season, Brown threw for 2,785 yards, 31 touchdowns, and four interceptions.
