St. John’s College High School (Washington, D.C.) continues to meet its incredible schedule head-on.
Saturday, the Cadets, ranked #9 in the latest High School Football America Top 25, defeated #22 Good Counsel (Maryland) 39-22 in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference opener for both teams. Next up is #4 DeMatha (Maryland) next week. SJC (4-1) has played four of its first five games against teams that began the season ranked in High School Football America’s Preseason Top 25.

St. John’s, which hasn’t won a WCAC title since 1989, ran-out to a 23-7 halftime lead and never looked back.
