Three-time reigning Open Division champ Kahuku starts the season No. 1 in the High School Football America Hawaii Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Red Raiders are also highly-ranked in our national rankings at No. 30.
Kahuku will once again test itself against top teams from off the island. Their non-Hawaii schedule includes the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in our preseason national rankings. The Red Raiders host No. 2 Bishop Gorman (Nevada) on August 16. They travel to Southern California September 14 for a matchup against preseason No. 1 Mater Dei, the winners of four of our national championships since 2017.
