Central High School (Baton Rouge) makes its first-ever appearance in our statewide rankings after batinf forrmer No. 8 Zachary 14-3.
Edna Karr moves up two spots to No. 7 after beating former No. 10 John Curtis 35-14. Up next for the Cougars is No. 6 Archbishop Rummel on Thursday.
After a 1-3 start, two-time defending state champ St. Thomas More is back in the Top 10. The Cougars sit at No. 10 after handing Teurlings Catholic its first loss (48-34) of the year.
