The Class 6A championship game Friday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL‘s Indianapolis Colts, will determine the top high school football team in the state of Indiana in 2024.

Westfield enters the title game ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Indiana Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Shamrocks face No. 2 Brownsburg in a rematch of their regular season game on September 28 won by the Bulldogs 17-13.

That may lead you to ask why Brownsburg is behind Westfield in our statewide rankings?

The answer is that Brownsburg’s loss to No. 10 Hamilton Southeastern drops the Bulldogs just a hair behind Westfield in the HSFA proprietary algorithm that is used to create the rankings.

Bottom line, things will be settled on the field Friday night with the winner finishing the season No. 1 in the Hoosier State.
