A decade is a long time for anything, especially to be a Tennessee high school football champ. Friday, Alcoa, ranked No. 165 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, won its tenth straight Tennessee high school football championships.

The Tornadoes beat Westview 40-21 for the Class 3A championship using the program’s trademark run game. Led by sophomore quarterback Eli Graf, Alcoa amassed 345 yards on the ground, 225 by Graf himself. He scored two rushing touchdowns and also threw one.

Graf was named the BlueCross Bowl MVP.

Overall, the championship is the 23rd for Alcoa, which is the most by any school in the state.
