Archbishop Shaw wins first Louisiana high school football championship in nearly 40 years

After a 1-2 start to the season, Archbishop Shaw is a Louisiana high school football champ for the first time since 1989. Friday, the Eagles beat E.D. White 28-25 for the Division II Select state championship. The Cardinals were looking for their first state title since 1969.

Shaw finishes 12-2. E.D. White closes out 2024 with a 12-3 record.
