The 2024 Texas Class 6A Division II championship trophy belongs to Vandegrift. Saturday, at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, the Vipers, ranked No. 86 in the High School Football America 300, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 24 Southlake Carroll, 24-17 for the school’s first-ever state football championship.

Vandegrift grabbed a 21-7 first half lead with quarterback Miles Teodecki leading the way completing 8-of-8 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He finished as the game’s Offensive MVP.

Brendan Fournier had a big game on the ground with 160 yards and a touchdown. The Vandegrift defense created three turnovers.
