A perfect 15-0 season leads Milton to be the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Georgia Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. It’s the second year in a row, the Eagles have been the top team in the state.
After winning the no longer used 7A title last year, Milton won the 5A title this year. Last Tuesday, the Eagles beat No. 8 Langston Hughes 56-35.
On the national scene, Milton finishes as the No. 2 country in the HSFA 300.
Falling in behind Milton is 6A champ Grayson at No. 2. The Rams are followed by the team the beat for the 6A title, Carrollton.
Buford finishes No. 4, followed by North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association Division I champ Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at No. 5.
