Texas school district strikes big apparel deal with Nike

We all know that things are bigger in Texas, especially high school football.  Once again, we’re finding-out how big with the Frisco Independent School District announcing its signed a $1.74 million deal with Nike for products and discounts, according to DallasNews.com.

2016 will be a big year for Frisco ISD and its eight varsity high school football programs.  The season will kick-off with the schools playing each other in the Dallas’ Cowboys’ practice facility called the Ford Center at the Star.  The Ford Center is Texas’ first domed high school venue.

In 2013, Frisco city officials announced a deal to invest $115 million to lure the Cowboys to town, which included the local high school teams using the new facility that will seat 12,000 for football.
